Esto responde a un problema generado por el propio modelo agroindustrial: el uso intensivo de herbicidas como el glifosato ha favorecido la aparición de malezas resistentes y la respuesta ha sido escalar hacia agroquímicos más fuertes”. El glifosato, comercializado por la multinacional Monsanto, vino con la soya RR en 2005; la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) lo calificó como “probablemente cancerígeno para humanos” en 2014.

The Italian state has bought a painting by 16-17th Century baroque master Caravaggio for €30m (£25.9m), one of the largest sums it has ever paid for an artwork.
